Consider giving some "charm" to that special person in your life - what
better memory to have than a beautiful piece of jewelry to remember those
special occasions and accomplishments in your life.

Whether it’s a whimsical and gleefully colored enameled charm of an ice cream cone or a more solemn and austere crucifix, silver charms and silver pendants have been worn throughout the millennium. While the history of the charm is not exactly certain, it is widely accepted that they were originally worn to ward off evil spirits, signify social standing, or to impart good luck on the wearer.

Today’s person donning charms as jewelry may proudly adorn himself with several charms, but most likely for very different purposes then our ancestors. They may spark a reminder of a specific memory, represent a hobby, mark the passage of a special day such as graduation, holiday or birthday, or just simply be worn to express one’s own identity and self-reflection.

Historically charms have been adorned singularly or in multiples on open linked bracelets or hung on necklace chains. The term charm is characteristically used when the trinket will be displayed on a bracelet whereas pendant is used more exclusively for those items, which are worn on a neck chain.

Although Paul has specialized in the Human Resources profession his entire working life, he has settled into the facinating career of collector and seller of unique gift items. He, along with his wife of 20 years, Charlene, make a humble living in Florida exploring local exhibits and the internet for items that would be interesting to collectors and to give as memorable gifts. They welcome questions and will represent sellers of hard to find and unique items.
